I am 79 years old and a Grandma whose Dr. sent her to physical therapist for aches and pains associated with old age. While I was in the office waiting I found the August 2017 issue of Outside, read a little and stuck it in my purse. I stole it! The motto is "Live Bravely" and I try to make those words my motto also. But I loved the articles inside about survival all very relevant and important. I am becoming a subscriber!
If you're couped up in your office all day, dreaming of what sports you could be playing, or mountains you could be hiking then you are just like me and this magazine is for you! I am definitely the outdoorsy type; I've always loved extreme sports and camping. I have been subscribing to Outside Magazine for years now, and love the monthly escape into the outdoor lifestyle. One of my favorite aspects of the magazine is the section on all of the new gadgets that are out. If you are an adventure seeker, but can't seem to find the time to satisfy your craving then a subscription to Outside Magazine is perfect for you.
Outside was created for people like me who love the outdoors, adventures-- and generally just being active. In the "Eating Out" section you'll find some amazing restaurant ideas for wilderness spots. Outside gives the best tips and advice on a wide range of subjects in "the Guide" section, which is my favorite. This magazine has it all-- it even has a style section which offers comfortable, durable solutions to stylish clothing. I enjoyed this month's tips on how to take the best pictures, which will definitely be useful to me when I go out on my next adventure. Also noteworthy are the reviews of the latest adventure-related films and books. Lastly and most importantly, each issue is filled with AWESOME adventure photos.
I started getting Outside as a promotional. It turns out to be a really good read every month. It's diverse enough to allow it to cover all kinds of interesting topics. I have one small problem, which is why I gave it 4 not 5 stars-- sometimes the graphic design/text is a little too noisy. But overall, still a great read.
I wanted to let you know that I think the Green Issues are the best issues. There should be more of them during the year to make the issue known to people.
